Compare the first few cutscenes of the game! This was really hard to make, this was recorded at two different days; before the update and after the update. It was difficult standing on the exact same position at each scene. I didn't have time to record more ie. night time and zombies. Sorry for that. Cutscene comparison coming VERY soon! The Enhanced Edition was free for all players who already owned the base game. The Season Pass includes everything even The Following Expansion. The Enhanced Edition replaced the vanilla game, that being said the original game is no longer available, at least not digitally. Dying Light The Enhanced Edition includes everything such as updated enemy/friendly AI, improved graphics, new weapons, new parkour moves, and the season pass. NOBODY is missing out on anything if we are talking about owning the original game and the new version since everyone gets the improved things either free or if you are newcomer (just bought the Enhanced Edition). I noticed a lot of difference. Smoother and better performance. Vegetation, walls, cars, light/shadow, fire etc... literally everything has updated graphics/textures. Thank You Techland for being awesome developers. You really know how to make season pass and show appreciation towards your fans and we love you for that. Can't wait for your next game(s). Starting Oct. 1, 2020, the federal government will require those boarding domestic flights to carry a driver’s license or another identification card that is Real ID compliant. However, the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) offers residents two options: a standard Real ID or an Enhanced ID. So what’s the difference between the two? Both the Real ID and Enhanced ID will allow travelers to board domestic flights and enter some federal buildings. However, Enhanced ID’s will also allow residents to cross the United States land and sea borders from Canada, Mexico, and some Caribbean countries, without the need for a passport. Enhanced ID’s do not authorize air travel between these countries, strictly land and sea travel. Passports are still required for all international flights. Real ID’s are marked with a star logo in the top-right corner, with Enhanced ID’s featuring a banner that reads “Enhanced," along with an American flag in the bottom-right corner. Standard ID cards, which are still valid for all other purposes outside of domestic flights and entering federal buildings, now feature the phrase “Not For Federal Purposes” in the top-right corner. Those who wish to obtain a Real ID must go to a DMV office. You cannot get a Real ID online, by phone, or through the mail. There is no additional cost to get a Real ID. However, all normal transaction fees still apply. An Enhanced ID will cost an extra $30, in addition to the normal transaction fees. Valid U.S. Passports are already Real ID compliant and can continue to be used to board flights. The DMV lists the following documents needed to obtain a Real ID or Enhanced ID: Proof of identity, such as valid license, birth certificate or passport, with your full first, middle (if applicable) and last name. This name will be displayed on your card as required by federal law. Proof of Social Security Number or Social Security Number ineligibility. If you have a valid NY license, permit or ID card, you must bring your original Social Security card or W-2 with full SSN. If you do not have a New York State driver license or identification card, you must bring your Social Security Card or a letter from the Social Security Administration proving your ineligibility to have a social security number. Proof of your date of birth. Proof of U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency or temporary lawful status in the United States. Two different proofs of New York State residence, such as utility bill, bank statement or mortgage statement (a P.O. Box not acceptable). If the name on your license, permit, or non-driver ID application does not match the name on your proof of identity, lawful status, and Social Security, you must bring in court- or government-issued proof documenting the event causing your name change(s), such as a marriage license, divorce decree, adoption, or court-order document. I finally present you my Silent Hill 2 comparison video, showcasing all the graphical differences between the original PS2 emulated on PCSX2 and the PC release modded with Enhanced Mod. Part 1. The PS2 version was played in 8x native resolution (4096x4096), and the PC in 1440p. Not that it makes a big difference on a 1080p monitor though, but does eliminate aliasing. I used the PS2 Greatest Hits / Restless Dreams version, which is the same thing as Director's Cut for PC. I did two playthroughs of the game on Hard Action and Easy Puzzle difficulties, and recorded both of them in their entirety to demonstrate absolutely every single difference. So yes, I had to edit two 5-6 hour long videos at the same time, which means double editing time. Not only that, but since the material was in insane quality (with a bitrate of 230000 kbps each) and weighed around 400 GBs each, my hardware had a difficult time keeping up, even with an i5-6600K, GTX 1080 Ti, 16GB DDR4 RAM and fully updated editing software. Therefore, the program crashed at least 100 times and I had other unfortunate set backs, like the program constantly getting stuck and refusing to render a certain frame. So I had to split the entire thing into parts, render them separately and then put them all back together and re-render them. And all of that for the first part. Luckily, the second one should be much more straightforward. Since I've finished this game countless times on both versions (more on PCSX2 ever since I could play it), I thought to myself "Well, I'm pretty familiar with this game, both from a technical and consumer perspective". I've actually been planning this for a very long time, and after many doubts, lack of time or simply unsuitable circumstances, I finally had enough. All the thoughts were killing me, so it was now or never. Pardon if my accent sounds strange at times, I'm not an American or an Englishman, I come from a rather small country called Lithuania. My first encounter with this game happened when I was around 12 or 13. And yes, I got the worst version at the time - the PC version, and not even a full one. It was a rip from some Russian DVD, so all the bugs, missing/looping music and so on made the experience all the more morbid. Boy was I missing out, I needn't mention just how absolutely kickass the soundtrack is for this game. When I played, suddenly the volume would kick up to insane highs even though I was on speakers and had it set on a bare minimum both in-game and the speakers, so that my mom wouldn't wonder what the hell's going on in that room. It was like the game was haunted and the sound was literally invading. But other areas were dead quiet, and I think that silence at least partially made me pretty uneasy with the game, particularly when I knew absolutely nothing about it and my brain couldn't possibly handle the deep symbolism and the themes meant strictly for adults to fully understand. But I cried in quite a few scenes, and after finishing it once, immediately did all the endings one after another. It wasn't my first experience with Silent Hill - that was Silent Hill 3 back in 2003. Well, I'm 22 years old now and it all seems very strange. Anyway, enough of me rambling. There are much, much better things you could spend your money on. Like the PS2 collection, for instance. Or the Xbox version. Or PC. Settings used: PCSX2 1.5.0 - OpenGL Hardware plugin, Interlacing - Auto, 8x native resolution, Texture Filtering - Bilinear (Forced), CRC Hack Level - Partial, Hardware Depth and Accurate Date checked, everything else unchecked. All recommended speedhacks. PC - 2560x1440 resolution (1440p), everything set on maximum settings.
