Is the Amazon Basics Overdrive Good For Metal Today let's see if the Amazon Basic's overdrive is good for Metal or not. This pedal comes at a super low price and has a fantastic sound that delivers way more then what you'd typically expect in it's rice range. The overdrive is essentially a Tube Screamer clone at a fraction of the price. This thing does everything well from giving you bluesy 70's tones to pushing your amp at full tilt. Is the Amazon Basics overdrive good for Metal? You bet! This thing will make your amp rip!

I suspect this is a TS style drive based on it's colour and control options. A $23 overdrive clone of the Ibanez Tube Screamer. This is honestly a nice little mini guitar pedal. Budget pedals that make a great guitar tone. I test it out to see how it is with my Kemper Profiler with a Matchless Profile by MBritt and a Mesa Boogie Mark IV profile by Guidorist. I use my ESP LTD Sc200 and Epiphone Les Paul Special II.
