How to get the Loaded Axe Prosthetic Tool In Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice to be able to defeat the Shield enemies. First get the Bell from the dying man's mother in Ashina Outskirts ti be able to get to Hirata Estate by praying back at the temple. Then follow the path shown on the video from the second Idol checkpoint.

If you don't lock on to the enemy you can simply run around them faster than they can turn. This is a great trick for dealing with this annoying Sekiro mob / enemy in the early game. You can also break their shield with the prosthetic tool upgrade of the axe, but this is how to beat them without it with relative ease.

You will encounter multiple shielded enemies in Sekiro and they may be problematic if you don't know how to kill them. Our video shows the solution to that problem. You must craft a Loaded Axe prosthetic tool thanks to the Shinobi Axe of the Monkey crafting material found in the village in Hirata Estate. Equip the Loaded Axe, lock the camera on the shielded enemy and press the tool attack button. The shield will be destroyed with just one axe hit. Against the shield enemy, the hero Jin needs to tap triangle again and again to break the defensive capabilities of the shield, and then break through the enemy shield. With the spear enemy, circle and control direction to get out of the attack sphere of the spear and then attack from the back.
