Visit Adventure Rig here: 🤍 Even my dad – at 68 – is jammin’ to tunes on the ski hill so I’m not really sure who’s not these days. If you’re like my Dad, you love cranking your favorite song while you glide down groomers. If you’re like me, it’s an absolute necessity to keep your mind from wandering towards what could happen if you totally case the booter in the park. No matter what kind of skiing you are in to, Outdoor Tech will have you jamming out all day long with the Chips 2.0. They are easy to use, wireless, and last all day long. I love that the Chips 2.0 are simple yet they are extremely functional- they’re nothing fancy but they don’t have to be. They give out amazing sound quality but you’ll hardly notice they’re there. Even if the headphones battery should die on you (they’ve never died on me and I’ve ridden with them for a few consecutive days) you can wire in your media device and they’ll play forever when they’re wired in. The charge port is easy to access while your Chips are mounted in your favorite helmet of choice so it’s not a big deal to charge them after a long day on the hill. The Chips will pretty much fit in any helmet that has access in the ear pads for audio – I have tried them in both a Bern Helmet and a Smith Helmet and they go in effortlessly. Getting used to how the two buttons (one on each earpiece) work does take a little bit of time and a few uses. Once you have it down, they are so easy to navigate and work really well. I haven’t had an issue with Bluetooth connection because I usually have my phone in my chest pocket. If you happen to leave your backpack with your friend on the lift behind you, I’m not sure the Bluetooth would reach but if you keep your device close, you shouldn’t have an issue. Not only can you listen to tunes while you ride, you can also use your phone without taking your mittens off. This is probably Tyson’s favorite feature about the Chips 2.0 system is that he can skip a song, turn the volume up, or pause all without removing his gloves. This is extremely nice for those bone-chilling days. There is also a Walkie Talkie feature built into the Chips 2.0 however we have not really gotten the feature to work. We haven’t spent too much time with it, but from what we can find it won’t work for our application. You have to have cell service in order for it to work proficiently and often times skiing in CO we do not have service. We did not want the Chips 2.0 for this feature so it really doesn’t impact us at all. If you are strictly looking for the Walkie Talkie feature and that is your main reason for purchasing these, I would talk to someone with more experience on the topic to really steer you in a clear direction. Overall, the Chips 2.0 system has made our lives of listening to tunes while cruising down the slopes easier. Not only is the sound quality amazing, they are extremely easy to use without taking your gloves off. Reviewing Sennheiser's new CX 400BT True Wireless Buds, boasting the same great audio performance of the Momentum earphones on a tighter budget. At £169 they're not cheap, for sure, but they're among the best of 2020 at this price for sound quality. I've been testing the Sennhesier CX 400BT for a week now and here's my final review. You don't get any noise cancelling or frills with these TWEs, unlike the Momentum True Wireless, but I loved the touch controls. You can also tweak the sound output and those controls using the Smart Audio app, available for Android phones and iOS. Battery life also gets a big thumbs up as the 400BT buds can keep going for around 6-7 hours on a charge, which is above average for most true wireless earbuds. Of course, Sennheiser is up against some tough competition as far as Bluetooth options go. Jabra's Elite 75T and the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live are other options at this price, but I really enjoyed the performance of the CX 400BT true wireless all the same. Their simple line of products have appealed to music lovers who want to experience the world of streaming audio with ease of use and great sound. When Sonos entered the home theater market with soundbars, they once again changed the way people thought about soundbars with their extraordinary sounding products that could also be part of your music system. Sonos first introduced a wireless subwoofer in 2012. Today’s brand new Sub is the third generation of this great addition for any Sonos system. The new Sonos Sub is designed to augment the bass of any Sonos speakers or can even be used with your own speakers if you are powering them with the Sonos Amp. You’ll have a choice of a beautiful gloss black or gloss white finish. The Sub is roughly 15 inches high by 16 inches wide and about 6 inches deep, and it weighs in at 36 pounds. The relatively thin cabinet design of the Sonos Sub allows you to hide it in many applications or you even have the option of laying it on its side if necessary. We really like the physical appearance of the Sub with its rounded corners and cut-out in the center for the dual bass drivers. Unlike most black box subwoofers, the Sonos Sub looks much more finished and refined to our eyes. Build quality is like all things Sonos - top notch. Sonos is one of those rare companies that actually tests each and every single product as it comes off their production line. Before a product makes it into production it goes through a series of stress tests as well. This is a big reason Sonos products have our lowest failure rate of anything we sell at Audio Advice. The Sub uses two oval, racetrack shaped drivers that face inward. This force cancelling design assures you the cabinet will never rattle even when you crank things up loudly. Sonos powers each subwoofer driver with an individual amplifier designed to bring out the best from the dual speaker design. The new version of the Sonos Sub has much more internal memory and a faster processor that will allow Sonos to send out future performance enhancements through system updates. One thing that is very important when blending a subwoofer to a system is getting the crossover point set correctly. That is the musical frequency where the bass transitions to the subwoofer and the mids and highs go to the main speakers. Done properly, you can perfectly blend a subwoofer with your speakers, however if you set the crossover too high or low, the results can sound pretty bad. What is so cool about adding the Sonos sub to an existing Sonos system is that for most cases, when the speakers are all Sonos, the app knows what you are matching up to the subwoofer and the Sonos software knows the rough range for the crossover point. But the real magic happens with Trueplay. This will play about a 3 minute series of test tones and their software will figure out the perfect crossover point and adjust the volume of each speaker. Trueplay even works if you are using your own speakers with the Sonos Amp and Sub. Should you wish to fine tune the level of the sub to your own tastes, simply open up the app and you’ll have a volume level adjustment at your fingertips! We’ve tested the Sub in a variety of setups using the Playbar, the new Arc Dolby Atmos soundbar, with a pair of the Sonos Fives, and with many different speakers paired up to a Sonos Amp. From music to movies, the Sub delivers great bass that is well defined and quite impactful. Sonos claims the Sub can reach down to 25Hz which is pretty amazing for its size. The bass is never boomy and always adds that bottom end fill that makes movies and music more fun. Also, by taking the bass away from your main speakers, the midrange opens up which we especially noticed on the Sonos Five and when using other stereo speakers with the Sonos Amp. Bass is the foundation of music. Our advice is that the Sub will improve any Sonos system out there. Add it, run Truplay, and enjoy music and movies at a level you were not expecting!

So if you're looking for a great pair of wireless earbuds for under $50, then I highly recommend these ones. Now with that being said, anytime you buy hardware within this price range, you're going to expect some trade-offs. And the T sixes are no exception. But this is something I'll touch on later in the video. A quick search on Amazon for the T six wireless earbuds will show you that they're boasting a 4.5-star rating with over 60,000 reviews. And after getting my hands on a pair and personally testing them for myself, let me break down exactly what makes them such amazing earbuds. Now jumping right into the unboxing, one of the first things I noticed was the clean, elegant look to everything. And that wasn't just the packaging, but the earbuds and the case as well. So popping open the box and setting the manual aside, you'll see your earbuds case in a small plastic container that holds five pairs of rubber earplugs. Normally within this price range, you can expect two or maybe three extra pairs of rubber earplugs so the fact that they've given you five just shows that they're trying to fit as many years as they can. And I had absolutely no trouble finding the size that fit me perfectly. Now despite this, I still think one of the areas where the earbuds fall short is in their fit. But it all comes down to comfort and what works best for you. But I found with these earbuds it's a lot easier to find that comfort zone and hold on to it than it is with a lot of other brands of earbuds out there. Now when it comes to the form of the earbud itself, it has a lot going for it. They clearly designed these with ergonomics in mind going for a clean, smooth look and feel. This means that you won't see a single physical button anywhere on them. They work around this by making them touch responsive. And unlike other earbuds with touch response, the T six is actually a response to multiple tap patterns. Now, this is one part of the earbuds that I actually think could use an improvement. The fact that they rely on the touch sensors is a nice feature, but they made it too sensitive. I found myself on more than one occasion accidentally pausing or skipping through a song when I just meant to adjust the position of the earbud in my ear. Despite this, it's not a game-changer in the earbuds are still absolutely worth it for their price point. It's just something to be aware of when you buy them. The full list of touch commands is included in a small booklet that comes with your manual.
